One of the better restaurants in Fremont, Ho Chow, is perhaps the city's most stylish eatery as well.

Located in the Galleria - Ho chow makes an immediate impression with it's bold design. Tall columns topped with geometric shapes partition the restaurant into various dining areas.

The lights are low and add to the atmosphere, as do the fresh-cut flowers. Artwork is subtle, but striking. A holiday arrangement in an Asia vase anchored the restaurant's contemporary ambiance. The mood is one of elegance.

Ho Chow uses fresh ingredients and no monosodium glutamate. What Ho Chow does, it does well. The wine list is very nice, with fine wines from California, as well as wines and champagnes from France. Our entrees were perfectly matched and displayed the preciseness of the kitchen. These weren't diced vegetables and meat carelessly tossed into a wok, but rather carefully planned, carefully spiced creations.

Ho Chow also features a lunch menu with a variety of entrees from $6.72 to $8.75, which includes soup of the day and steamed rice.
